Open the Typesmith app; it walks you through the two steps: enable it under Android's keyboard settings, then choose it as your current keyboard. Android will warn you that a keyboard can see what you type — every third-party keyboard gets that warning. What Typesmith does with it is in the privacy policy.

Add keyboards in Typesmith → Settings → Languages. Then tap the globe key, or hold the space bar, to switch between them.

The app carries dictionaries for English, Spanish and Portuguese. The other languages have full keyboards but no word list on your phone yet, so they have no suggestions or autocorrect from a dictionary — they learn the words you type instead, and suggest those. Dictionaries for more languages are coming as downloads.

Settings → Learned words: remove it there. Words learned in one language show in every language, so a Roman-Urdu word can turn up while you type English; remove it or ignore it.

Yes: Settings → Backup makes a file, encrypted with a passphrase you choose. Restore it on the new phone from the same screen. Without the passphrase the file can't be read, by anyone.

Settings → AI → Use your own key. Paste a key from OpenAI or DeepSeek. The provider bills you for what you use, usually cents a month for a keyboard; text goes straight from your phone to them. You can pick the model, for every mode or per mode.

One we choose, to keep replies quick and the subscription affordable; we may change it. If you want to pick the model yourself, use your own key.

It's hidden where it makes no sense: password fields, name and address fields, search boxes that filter a list, and fields an app marks private. Everywhere else it's there.

Typesmith AI has a daily fair-use allowance, generous for typing but not unlimited. It comes back at midnight UTC. If you hit it in ordinary use, tell us — that's what it's sized against.

In the Play Store app: your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Typesmith AI → Cancel. The current period runs to its end. Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel a subscription.

Refunds go through Google Play under its refund policy; you can ask there within 48 hours of a charge. For anything beyond that, write to us with your order number.

Make sure you're signed into the Play Store with the Google account that bought it, then open Typesmith → Settings → AI and, under Typesmith AI, tap Restore. If it still doesn't work, send us the order number from your Play receipt.

In a password field it suggests nothing, learns nothing and keeps nothing. Nothing you type in any field is ever sent anywhere unless you use an AI feature on it.

Delete your data spells it out: uninstalling removes everything on the phone; write to us for the subscription records on our server.
